Students of This School Won the First Prize in the 14th National Advertising Art Design Competition for College Students

Recently, the 14th National Advertising Art Design Competition for College Students (hereinafter referred to as the Competition), which was guided by the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and co-sponsored by China Association of Higher Education and the Teaching Guidance Committee of Journalism and Communication in Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education, came to an end. This school actively organized and guided students to participate in this competition. After teacher guidance, preliminary evaluation, division selection, and national overall evaluation, Wu Yixuan, Shang Xin’ao, and Zhang Tianhan from the Department of Industrial Design ultimately won one national first prize in the animation category, which is the highest award received by CUG since its participation. In addition, they also won one second prize, two third prizes, and two recognition awards in Hubei Division, making another breakthrough in the number of winners. Among them, the works that won the national first prize also won the HBN Enterprise Special Award - Creative Award.

 

This school has always attached great importance to the combination and application of subject competitions in the professional practical teaching system, deeply integrating subject competitions with professional teaching, strengthening the communication and interaction between teachers and students, and stimulating the creative thinking of students. In the future, the school will continue to guide students to exercise their professional skills and stimulate their innovation ability in competitions based on the principle of “promoting education through competition, promoting learning through competition and combining learning with competitions”.

 

The Competition is a national competition for college students, with a large scale of participation, a wide coverage of higher education institutions, a large number of participating teachers and students, a high level of works, popularity among university teachers and students, and significant social influence. The entries are divided into nine categories: graphic, video, animation, interactive, broadcast, planning case, copywriting, marketing creator, and public welfare. This competition attracted 1,869 higher education institutions to submit a total of 744,401 sets of creative works for the competition, with 1,740,180 participating teachers and students.
