Chao Chen

Chao Chen, female, Han nationality, native of Huangshi, Hubei Province, Party member, PhD, associate professor, graduated from Chengdu University of Information Technology in 1997 with bachelor’s degree in engineering, graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology with master’s degree in communication and information system in 2002, graduated from Shanghai Marine University in 2010 with PhD in power electronics and electric drive, and went to University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a visiting scholar funded by China Scholarship Council for half a year in 2015. She is the IEEE fellow, senior member of Chinese Institute of Communications, member of The Chinese Institute of Electronics, expert of Hubei Communication Experts Committee, director of Wuhan Institute of Communication, and the member of the Higher Education Textbook Expert Advisory Committee of China Machine Press.

She is engaged in the teaching and scientific research of communication engineering, has carried out relevant research on wireless communication, radar communication and chaos communication, presided over and participated in many related research programs, and published many papers and patents.
