2009.5-present: teaching in School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan); a visiting scholar in the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering, University of Saskatchewan from Jan. 2014 to Dec. 2014.

II. Main research fields:

1. Research on communication algorithm.  Such as the research on CORDIC algorithm, orthogonal unbalanced digital correction QEC algorithm, design and implementation of digital pre-distortion DPD algorithm, etc.  

1. Communication system or digital system design. Such as high-speed and high-performance FIR filter design, JESD204B interface circuit design, ZIF structure transmitter and receiver system design based on software radio, etc.

1. FPGA development and chip design. Such as high-speed and high-performance DDS chip, fully integrated software radio chip, general tactical integrated terminal chip, Ethernet interface card chip, development of video codec chip and SDH optical communication chip, etc.

1. RISC CPU design and application development of embedded system. ARM Cortex M3 embedded kernel design, various signals processing and application design based on ARM platform.

Notes:

1. During studying for masters degree, each student has the experience and ability to publish important academic journal papers. The academic master has published at least one SCI/EI journal paper and at most four SCI/EI journal papers.

2. All students have the opportunity to practice in company. Through internship, in addition to getting higher income from scientific research grants, they can also be familiar with the corporate culture and the specific requirements of companies or research institutes on students’ skills, improve their confidence and advantages in finding a job after graduation, and adapt to the transition from the role of student to R&D engineer more quickly.

3. In recent years, the employers of postgraduates include Tencent, SOHU, No. 712 Research Institute, No. 58 Research Institute, Chang Guang Satellite, FiberHome Telecommunication, Wuhan Patent Office, State Grid, and advanced study for Ph. D in Huazhong University of Science and Technology, etc. After graduation, the postgraduates in this research field are quite competitive, and the employers are all popular companies or large state-owned enterprises and research institutes.

VI. Supervisors wishes:

Yu Minhong, President of New Oriental, repeatedly stressed in his speech that we should believe in the power of struggle. In my opinion, it doesn’t matter whether the student’s foundation is good or bad, or the starting point is high or low, in fact, the key to determining whether a student has a promising future lies in the desire to advance.

As long as the students have high self-requirements and are willing to work hard, they can make great achievements at any stage. I don’t know who will be admitted as my postgraduate every year. But I always regard the teacher-student relationship as a rare fate, and I will try my best to motivate and train the students to growth and become talented.

I would like to recruit 2-4 postgraduate students every year, and I look forward to your joining.
