II. Main research fields
(1) Design of digital chips, mainly the circuit design of digital interfaces, digital filtering, digital mixing and digital correction in the ADC/DAC chip of the data converter.
(2) RISC CPU design, such as 8051 microcontroller, cortex M3/M4 and other core designs.
(3) FMCW radar hardware accelerator circuit design.
(4) Design of other digital systems or communication systems, such as circuit design for digital shortwave radios, digital trunked communication systems, etc.

Note: Every graduate student is required or arranged to intern at a company/research institute, ranging from as short as six months to as long as over a year. Through internship, in addition to receiving certain internship subsidies, they can also be familiar with the corporate culture and the specific requirements of companies or research institutes on students’ skills, improve their confidence and advantages in finding a job after graduation, and adapt to the transition from the role of student to R&D engineer more quickly.
VI. Supervisor’s wishes:
Yu Minhong, President of New Oriental, repeatedly stressed in his speech that we should believe in the power of struggle. In my opinion, it doesn’t matter whether the student’s foundation is good or bad, or the starting point is high or low, in fact, the key to determining whether a student has a promising future lies in the desire to advance. As long as the students have high self-requirements and are willing to work hard, they can make great achievements at any stage.
Although there is high market demand and employment prospects in integrated circuit design industry, it faces challenges such as high technical thresholds and many learning contents. Welcome students who are interested in digital circuit design, willing to enter the chip design industry, and willing to engage in practical engineering development research (rather than purely academic research).
