Main Research Fields:
He is mainly engaged in research on mechatronics and robotics, inspection technology, geological equipment and its automation, and seismic exploration equipment. He has presided over and participated in multiple projects, including national key research and development program, national science and technology support program, pre-projects of the General Assembly Lunar Exploration Project, national defense projects, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Hubei Scientific Research Projects, Wuhan Scientific Research Projects and horizontal cooperation projects. He has published many articles in domestic and international journals, has been granted dozens of invention patents, and has published one academic book and two textbooks. He has received one second prize of Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress Award, one second prize of Provincial Teaching Achievement Award, and one grand prize of Municipal Scientific and Technological Progress Award.

The group welcomes students who love scientific research and are interested in mechatronics and robotics, inspection technology, geological equipment and its automation, seismic exploration equipment, etc. Undergraduate and graduate students with good design and analytical ability, programming ability, hands-on experimental ability, and backgrounds in mechanical and electrical engineering, industrial engineering, automation, computers, and other related science and engineering disciplines can join the group. The research team will provide a relatively sufficient research environment, funding, and assistance expenses.
