Cheng Yiwei, male, distinguished professor and postdoctoral fellow of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information, China University of Geosciences, “CUG Scholar” Young Top Talent , is a senior member of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, a senior member of Chinese Society for Vibration Engineering, a member of Hubei Province Association for Artificial Intelligence, a guest editor of SCI journals, such as Electronics, and a reviewer for many international authoritative journals. He is engaged in the research on online monitoring, abnormality detection, status assessment, fault diagnosis, life prediction and maintenance decision-making of complex equipment and systems, involving key technologies such as intelligent hardware, intelligent Internet of Things, industrial big data analysis, artificial intelligence algorithms, edge computing, cloud computing, digital twins, blockchain, and industrial Internet platform.
In recent years, he has presided over the research program supported by the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and Hubei Postdoctoral Innovative Research Program, participated in multiple national projects such as the State Key Research and Development Program and the General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 30 academic papers in IEEE T. Cybernetics, IEEE T. Industrial Informatics, IEEE/ASME T. Mechatronics, Scientia Sinica (Technologica) and other top journals in his field, including 4 ESI highly cited papers, with a total of over 1,000 citations. In addition, he has been granted 5 national invention patents and 1 software copyright.
