Basic Information:

Jiang Hongyong, distinguished professor, PhD/postdoctoral fellow, CUG Scholar, CUG Youth Talent Program, Jiangsu Yellow Sea Pearl Talent, member of Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, member of Chinese Society for Composite Materials, has been carrying out teaching and research work in the fields of aerospace, new energy vehicles, sea geological resources exploration and development equipment, and 3D printing robots, including lightweight point structure/composite structure mechanics and topology optimization design, intelligent additive manufacturing and design, engineering mechanics and simulation modelling. Admission Information:

The team is an “Advanced Design and Additive Manufacturing Group. The laboratory is equipped with all kinds of 3D printer equipment and testing equipment and virtual simulation equipment, and thus we can provide students with a good experimental and simulation platform. Students who love scientific research and are highly motivated to study are welcome to join us. Undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD students who are interested in the following research directions or related research directions and have related professional backgrounds (e.g., mechanical, mechanics, materials, aerospace, civil engineering, etc.) to join us. We will provide good conditions for scientific research and one-on-one guidance, support the participation in domestic and international academic conferences, recommend for doctoral studies in double first-class 985 universities, and recommend to study abroad for CSC or joint training.

Intelligent additive manufacturing and technology: 3D printing of continuous fiber composite material structures, 3D/4D printing of superstructure/intelligent structures.

Engineering mechanics: Finite element simulation, multi-scale and multi-field coupled modelling, impact dynamics, composite mechanics, extreme service performance and life.
