Profile of Luo Dapeng
Luo Dapeng, born in Apr. 1978, PhD, associate professor, master supervisor, selected for the fourth batch of "Yellow Crane Talent Program" of Wuhan City, Hubei Province, received his doctoral degree in Control Science and Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and visited the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Michigan State University as a visiting scholar from 2016 to 2017. He has published more than 40 papers in authoritative journals at home and abroad, including IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, Pattern Recognition, Neurocomputing, Pattern Recognition Letters, and more than ten papers are in JCR Q2 or above. He has presided over and participated in the programs supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, key program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, key program of the National Natural Science Foundation of Hubei Province, and the industry-university-research integration funding program of the Ministry of Education, Guangdong Province. He has achieved a series of results in the areas of autonomously learnable target detection, tracking algorithms, unsupervised domain adaptive learning, biological visual attention modeling, image classification and target recognition. He serves as the reviewer of many authoritative journals in the field of electronics and information both at home and abroad, the member of Chinese Association of Automation, and communication review expert of NSFC.
