Dianhong Wang (1957-), male, doctoral supervisor, the second-grade professor of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), the expert enjoying special government allowances of State Council; member of the Electronic Information and Communication Engineering Committee of the Association of Education in Chinese Universities, senior member of Chinese Institute of Electronics, executive director of the 4th Council of Geological Instrument Branch of China instrument and Control Society, executive director of Electronic Circuit Teaching Research Association of the Ministry of Education in Central and South China; received the bachelor’s degree in Applied Electronics from the Department of Geophysical Exploration, Wuhan Institute of Geology in 1982, the master’s degree in Communication Information System from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 1989, and doctor’s degree in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent System from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2002, and is mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research of intelligent instruments, electronic information engineering and computer application now.
Academic achievements
He has won more than 10 awards, including Hubei Science and Technology Progress Award, Hubei Natural Science Award, Technology Invention Award, and achievement promotion award, etc., compiled and published 5monographs and textbooks, published over 100 papers (more than 50 papers were indexed by SCI and EI), and has been granted many patents.

Scientific research
More than 40 programs as the principal investigator, including the programs supported by Natural Science Foundation of China, subproject supported by National Program on Key Basic Research Project (973 Program), provincial and ministry-level program and enterprise-funded program; over 100 papers (more than 50 papers were indexed by SCI and EI), more than 10 patents; the second prize of Hubei Science and Technology Progress Award in 2011 and 2012, and the second prize of Hubei Natural Science Award.
