Recruitment Notice of the Department of Industrial Design of School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information

According to the work needs, the Department of Industrial Design of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) is now openly recruiting a full-time teacher, as agreed by the university.

I. Application Requirements

1. PhD. The applicant should be full-time graduate from key or well-known universities and research institutes at home and abroad during undergraduate and graduate study. Undergraduate and postgraduate majors should be mechanical and electrical engineering, computer science, design and other related fields. 

2. Not more than 31 years old for doctoral students and not more than 35 years old for post-doctoral students; the age of particularly outstanding doctoral or post-doctoral students may be appropriately relaxed by 1 to 2 years.

3. CET-6 or valid foreign language score (TOEFL 550 or above or IBT 80 or above, or GRE 1800 or above, or IELTS 6.0 or above), or continuous further study abroad for more than 1 year.

4. Applicants with more than 2 consecutive years of overseas experience are preferred.

5. In the past five years, the applicant should publish two papers in academic journals related to the applied discipline or win more than two awards in national design competitions, and the papers should reach the classification standards of journals stipulated by the University.

6. The applicant should be in good health and well-behaved, with good teamwork and dedication.

II. Application Process

1. Submission of resume and relevant materials

The applicants must provide their resumes (including their basic information, study experience, work history, major academic achievements, etc.) and relevant certificates, and ensure their authenticity and accuracy.

2. Review and selection by the School

In accordance with the basic conditions, the School will review the materials of the applicants and those who meet the conditions are listed as assessment objects.

3. Interview assessment and trial lecture

The School will organize relevant professionals to assess the comprehensive quality of the proposed candidates. After passing the assessment, the School will report to the relevant functional departments of the university and uniformly organize the trial lecture.

4. Approval of employment

According to the assessment results, determine the personnel to be employed and report to the personnel department of the University for approval. Handle the employment procedures according to the provisions of the management measures for the employment of mobile personnel of the University.
