To celebrate the International Working Women’s Day on March 8th and enrich the spiritual and cultural life of female faculty, the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information has recently organized a unique festival activity, including flower arrangement and botanical garden tours, allowing female faculty to relax and feel the joy of the festival in their busy work.
On the day of the event, female faculty members of the School first gathered at the flower arrangement event site. The scene is filled with various fresh and gorgeous flower materials, such as roses, lilies, daisies, etc. Professional flower arrangement teachers personally guided and provided detailed explanations and demonstrations on the selection of flower materials, color matching, and styling design. Female faculty members enthusiastically selected their favorite materials, carefully conceive and cleverly match them, turning flowers into unique floral works. They created while exchanging experiences in a warm and joyful atmosphere.
After the flower arrangement, the female faculty members went to the Botanical Garden together. There is vitality and energy in the Botanical Garden in spring. The garden is full of flowers, with cherry blossoms, peach blossoms and magnolias blooming. The colorful flowers and tender green branches complement each other, constituting a beautiful picture. Teachers strolled along the paths of the Botanical Garden, enjoying the beauty of nature, breathing the fresh air, stopping from time to time to take pictures, and the laughter echoed in the garden.
This event not only allowed female faculty members to experience the joy of artistic creation in the process of flower arrangement, but also allowed them to relax and relieve work pressure during the tour of the botanical garden. In addition, the event also enhanced communication and friendship among female faculty members, and strengthened the cohesion and centripetal force of the School.
The female faculty members who participated in the event expressed that the event had given them a fulfilling and meaningful holiday, and they felt the care and respect of the School for female faculty members. They will devote themselves to their work with greater enthusiasm and high morale, contributing their efforts to the development of the School.
In the future, the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information will continue to pay attention to the needs of female faculty and staff, organize more diverse activities, create a harmonious and warm working atmosphere, and promote the continuous development of various undertakings of the School.
