Not long ago, the freshmen of Grade 2024 from the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) went to Shenglong Electric Group, to carry out “enterprise trip” practice education activities. The relevant persons in charge of the brand enterprise propaganda center of Shenglong Electric Group accompanied them and gave a wonderful "first lesson" to the freshmen with the theme of enterprise technology development.
More than 100 students participated in this activity, which enabled them to understand Shenglong's unique "group boss system" and cutting-edge technology in the industry through field research, and will further promote the deep integration of industry, university and research on this basis. Since last year, the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information, CUG has taken “enterprise trip” as an important part of entrance education for new students, to establish a long-term mechanism based on university-enterprise collaborative education with university-enterprise cooperation as a platform, so that more students can go to enterprises to understand the industry and learn more professional knowledge.
Teachers and students from CUG visited Lida Hall, Science and Technology Exhibition, and Shenglong Overview, etc., to learn more about Shenglong's enterprise culture and intelligent products. “There is no switch panel in the whole building, and the whole intelligent AI building realizes automatic regulation and control, too futuristic!” When they saw the iDrip intelligent IoT system newly developed by the enterprise applied in the intelligent building, the students all exclaimed in admiration. After the visit, everyone expressed that they had gained a lot and were more determined in the direction of their study.
China University of Geosciences and Shenglong Electric Group already have a good foundation for cooperation, and the university has provided a large number of talents for Shenglong over the years. Not long ago, Shenglong Electric Group went to CUG to recruit talents and attract young people to intern and work at Shenglong. This on-site visit is another big step in strengthening the deep integration of the school and the enterprise.
