From January 17th to 18th, a delegation of 12 led by the Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Qu Xianghua, visited relevant enterprises in Beijing for exchange and communication, and attended industry expos. On the afternoon of January 17th, Qu Xianghua and the delegation visited the Beijing headquarters of Shenglong Electric Group, learning about the company's culture, development process, and engaged in discussions with Shenglong Electric Group's director, Deng Jianzhong, and others. Deng Jianzhong warmly welcomed Qu Xianghua and the delegation. He elaborated on the company's development history, business scope, technological product advantages, and expressed hopes to strengthen communication and cooperation to promote collaborative innovation in industry, academia, and research, and elevate the level of cooperation between the university and enterprises. Faculty and students focused on themes such as party-building guiding development, cultivating outstanding talents, product technology demands, and career development directions, engaging in extensive exchanges with company personnel. On the morning of January 18th, Qu Xianghua and the delegation visited the fourth Shengbo Expo. Shengbo Expo, hosted by Shenglong Electric Group, is a large-scale intelligent electrical exhibition. It has gradually become an annual event for "government-industry-university-research-application" cooperation and exchange in the Chinese electrical field, attracting dozens of top industry enterprises as exhibitors and has been held for three sessions so far. Faculty and students focused on visiting the advanced technology and intelligent equipment exhibition areas, engaging in discussions and connections with relevant enterprise leaders to gain detailed insights into technology research trends, technological achievements transformation, and expressed hopes to strengthen university-enterprise cooperation to promote the integration of industry, academia, and research.
