Consolidating Theme-focused Learning and Education Achievements and Carrying out High-quality Talent Development

  On the afternoon of May 19, Liu Jie, A Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), Qu Xianghua, Party Secretary of School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information, Wu Tanggao, Director of Student Employment Guidance Department; Zhang Xin, Director of Cooperation and Development Office of Alumni and Social Cooperation Department, paid a visit to the practice base and had an informal discussion. Bu Jie, the President of Kunpeng Talents Service Co., Ltd presided over the discussion and Huyan, the person in charge of the base and Wang Chao, the personnel manager of Zhongding Hengsheng Gas Equipment (Wuhu) Co., Ltd, attended the informal discussion. During the visit and discussion, both parties exchanged views on the arrangement of internship for students from School of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Information and how to broaden the breadth and depth of strategic cooperation in the future.

  During the seminar, both parties discussed the key issues such as students' internship arrangement, expansion of practice projects and internship guidance, which not only showcased the rich teaching background and student resources of the University, but also highlighted the outstanding work done by the practice base in cultivating innovative and entrepreneurial talents. Both parties agreed that the students from this School performed very well in their internship in Wuhu last year, which promoted their overall development and employment competitiveness. The success of the symposium not only furthered the development of the students, but also helped to improve their competitiveness.

   The success of this seminar not only further consolidated the cooperation between the practice base and China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), but also pointed out the direction for the future in-depth cooperation between the two parties, which would be based on the mutual benefit and win-win make positive contribution to cultivating more excellent talents and promoting Wuhu's economic development and social progress.
