On the afternoon of April 13, 2023, the activity of Enterprise Trip by the Students in This School for "Boosting Youth Dreams and Practicing Craftsman’s Sprit" in 2023 was launched in Fiberhome Communication Technology Co. Luo Caiwei, the employment commissioner of this School, led 43 freshmen and sophomore students in this School to go into the enterprise, understand the professional prospect and improve the future career framework.

The students first visited the exhibition hall of the company. The interpreter introduced the growth and innovation of Fiberhome Group in the fields of marine network, global service with the advantage of "four supers", communication network "up to the sky and deep into the sea" and strategic deployment of smart city under the background of 5G. By watching the video of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech during his inspection of Fiberhome Group in 2018, the students deeply felt the responsibility of state-owned enterprises and fully realized that to realize the new development concept, science and technology innovation was the first.

Afterwards, Li Xueqin, the head of Human Resources Department of Public R&D Department, had a discussion with the students. They had a detailed exchange around professional development, enterprise employment standards, research hotspots and other issues. The students expressed that they had gained a lot from the enterprise trip and had a new understanding of their major and future employment, and that they should continue to develop their learning ability and comprehensive ability and cultivate the sense of innovation and creativity in their future study life.

"An Enterprise Trip" is an important part of university-enterprise collaborative education activities for “Boosting Youth Dreams and Practicing Craftsman’s Sprit”, and is also an important measure of this School to guide the student employment. The “Enterprise Tour” activity has been held for four times since 2022.
