This School Holds a Special Report Meeting on Conveying and Learning the Spirit of the 2023 NPC & CPPCC National Committee Annual Sessions

On the afternoon of March 23, the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information held a special report meeting on conveying and learning the spirit of the 2023 NPC & CPPCC National Committee Annual Sessions (the Two Sessions). Ding Huafeng, a member of the CPPCC National Committee and dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information delivered a special report on conveying and learning the spirit of the National Two Sessions, and Du Yu, secretary of the Youth League Committee, presided over the meeting.

Ding Huafeng introduced the basic information of the Two Sessions, the key points of the report of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC, the general election of the CPPCC, and the institutional reform plan of the State Council, and interpreted the government work report from the key aspects of economic and social development. He also introduced his participation in politics and performance of duties based on his own experience from exploring “dual system” teaching innovation, college students’ employment and entrepreneurship, and other hot issues in education, science and technology, and talent. He deeply understood that high-quality development is the primary task of building a modern socialist country in all respects, and education, science and technology, and talent are the fundamental and strategic supports for building a modern socialist country in all respects. He believed that we should keep a good political direction and pay close attention to major issues of the Party and the country, carry out solid investigation, scientific research and demonstration, discover real problems and put forward insightful opinions, do a good job and make suggestions and proposals around our own work. He encouraged the faculty and students to bear in mind the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech, study and implement the spirit of the Two Sessions, cultivate patriotic feelings, refine excellent skills, be courageous and entrepreneurial, and strive to be the builders and successors of the great task of national rejuvenation. The report is both theoretical and practical, and is of great importance for all teachers and students to deeply learn and implement the spirit of the Two Sessions.
