Successful Holding of the Fifth Meeting of the Third Faculty Assembly of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information in 2022

At 4:10 p.m. on February 23, the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information held the Fifth Meeting of the Third Faculty Assembly in Room 301 of No. 2 Teaching Building. All faculty members, representatives of retired veteran teachers and student representatives of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Comrade Yu Xiaozhou, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School.

In the first stage of the meeting, Hao Guocheng, Chairman of the Labor Union of the School, read out the documents approved by the Labor Union of the University and made a report on the work of the Labor Union in 2022. The report included the achievements of the Labor Union of this School in this year, the outlook for the work in the next year, and a public statement on the income and expenditure of the Labor Union in this year. Tao Andong, Director of the Office of the School, made a report on the financial work in 2022, detailing the income and expenditure of the School this year.

In the second stage of the meeting, Dean Ding Huafeng presented souvenirs and flowers to the representatives of retired teachers. Six faculty members of the School retired honorably in 2022, namely, Wang Dianhong, Rao Jianhua, Kong Lingbin, Zeng Xiaohui, Wang Jie, and Shu Bangjiu.

The third stage of the meeting was to summarize and commend. Comrade Yu Xiaozhou, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, read out the commendation decision of the School. “Outstanding Class Teachers of the School for Comprehensive Work in 2021-2022”, “Top 10% in the Undergraduate Education Quality Evaluation of the School in 2021-2022”, “2022 Lecture Competition for Young Teachers of the School”, “Competition for Ideological and Political Theories Teaching in All Courses of the School in 2022”, and “University-Level Outstanding Works of the Labor Union”, etc.

The meeting was successfully concluded in a warm and cheerful atmosphere. In the past year, all the faculty and staff of the school have worked hard, drawing a successful conclusion for 2022 with fruitful results. A new page of the year 2023 has been quietly opened. In the new year, all the faculty and staff of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information, under the leadership of the leading team, will work together during the “Fourteenth Five-Year Plan” to advance into a new journey and contribute to the new era.
