A Cooperative Attempt Between the University and Government in Scientific and Technological Achievements Transformation to Help the School Serve Local Economic Development

Ding Huafeng introduced the information of this school, focusing on the research team and achievements. Shen Linghua introduced the industrial scale and planning, talent introduction policy and science and technology research and development subsidy policy of Xianning High-tech Industrial Development Zone, and expressed that the local economic development cannot be separated from the in-depth cooperation among the government, university and enterprises, and they would strive to build a three-dimensional linkage “incubator” and “accelerator” for achievements transformation and build an innovation-driven platform, to become a bridge connecting the scientific and technological achievements and industrial achievements. Dai Guoqiang introduced the development of Hubei University of Science and Technology, focusing on the basic situation and valuable experience in scientific and technological achievements transformation based on the cooperation between the university and local government. He hoped to cooperate with this school in technology research and development, key technology research, talent training, and incubation of scientific and technological achievements.

Finally, Secretary Qu Xianghua introduced the achievements of the school in the joint training of postgraduates, the construction of innovation bases and student internship training bases, and the school-enterprise based research and experimental platforms, and stressed that the school has been making efforts to promote the deep integration of the school and the local government, to build the innovation community among the university, enterprise and local government, and to help the local economic development. This meeting has opened up the working idea of university-government and university-enterprise cooperation, which is conducive to building the government-enterprise cooperation platform, and has laid a solid foundation for a new win-win situation.
