On and Off-Campus Media Published “School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information has Achieved Results in Exploring the “Party Building + Technical Innovation” Model”

In 2022, on the occasion of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 70th anniversary of the founding of CUG, the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information adheres to the leadership of the Party building, fully implements the education and scientific research policies of the Party Committee of the University, promotes the deep integration of Party building and the various undertakings of the School, closely follows the main line of “leading the high-quality development of the school with high-quality Party building”, and implements the “double driven” scientific research idea of “strengthening the characteristics with application research”, guides all the scientific research workers of the School to focus on the strategic theme of “Beautiful China, Habitable Earth: Towards 2030”, gathers consensus and determination, makes scientific plans, innovates, and works hard to contribute scientific and technological strength to the high-quality development of the School.

The School further improves the scientific research cooperation mode of “Driving joint construction by Party building and promoting development by cooperation”, actively expands the channels of off-campus cooperation, coordinates with various scientific research teams around the new development trend of "intelligent geological equipment" industry, continuously promotes the integration of "industry-university-research" development, actively promotes the transformation of scientific and technological achievements to the frontline of engineering and practical productivity, and provides scientific and technological support for the industry development. By adhering to the goal-oriented approach under the leadership of party building, the School has made a breakthrough in both "quality" and "quantity" of scientific research projects this year, and the total amount of funds received has exceeded RMB 20 million Yuan, including 7 programs supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 3 National Key Research and Development Programs of the Ministry of Science and Technology, 1 Key Program supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 Key Research and Development Program of Hubei Province, and 1 Key Science and Technology Project of Shenzhen.
