    Make the talent introduction carrier bigger, stronger and better, raise the banner of talents in Wuhu, and create a “golden” card for Wuhu to attract talents. On the morning of September 29, the opening ceremony of Wuhu Practice Base for College Students and practice completion activities of the first batch of students were held in Jiujiang New Industrial Town, which were hosted by Huang Wanyong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Jiujiang District and Head of the District.

Opening! A New Start of Talents Attraction in Wuhu 

   Cai Yi, Vice Mayor of Wuhu Municipal Government, Fang Zhong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Jiujiang District, Huang Wanyong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Jiujiang District and Head of the District, Liu Tiankui, Deputy Director of the Organization Department of Wuhu Municipal Committee and Deputy Director of the Talent Office, Qu Xianghua, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), Bu Jie, Chairman of Kunpeng Talent and Director of Wuhu Practice Base for College Students, attended the ceremony and opened the base.

    The leaders of School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information of China University of Geosciences and the principals of Chery New Energy Co., Ltd. and Anhui RAYO Automation Technology Co., Ltd. issued certificates for the first batch of students who completed their practice.

A Message from Fang Zhong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Jiujiang District

   Li Bo, Deputy Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), made a speech on the completion of student practice. He said that the opening ceremony of "Wuhu Practice Base for College Students" and the completion ceremony of the first batch of students' practice marked a new step in the “government-industry-university-research-application” based cooperation between the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information of China University of Geosciences and Wuhu, as well as with many enterprises in Wuhu, and was another milestone in the expansion of cooperation fields and the acceleration of development between China University of Geosciences and all walks of life in Wuhu. The three-month practical exploration in Wuhu had initially formed a good situation of interdisciplinary and cross-professional integration, teaching and research practice integration, and the integration of innovation and entrepreneurship with professional education, developed students' multiple perspectives and multi-dimensional understanding of the world and significantly improved the quality of talent cultivation. Practice has proved that the "government-application-industry-university-research" cooperation relying on "Wuhu Practice Base for College Students" is successful and sustainable, showing its strong vitality.

Promotion by the Chairman of Kunpeng Talent

   Bu Jie, Chairman of Kunpeng Talent and Director of the Base Office, delivered an important speech at the event. He mentioned that with the support of the government, universities and enterprises, Wuhu Practice Base for College Students finally ushered in the opening ceremony, marking the official operation of the base. Since this year, at the initial stage of the base construction, the base has welcomed 120 students from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) to Wuhu key enterprises for a three-month practical training activity. At today's opening ceremony of the base, we also celebrate their practice completion ceremony.

   He introduced that the total area of the base is about 13,300m², covering 204 talent apartments, multi-function service halls, base exhibition halls, canteens, convenience stores, science and technology book bars and other high-quality supporting facilities, which can accommodate 2000 college students to settle in for practice activities a year. In the future, the base will vigorously gather scientific and technological talent resources and build a scientific and technological talent highland in Wuhu through "attracting, cultivating, gathering and retaining" talents.

   It is reported that Wuhu Practice Base for College Students is a "double first-class" college student internship practice base led by the People's Government of Jiujiang District and built in cooperation with Kunpeng Talent Group, which is a practical action for Jiujiang District to implement the first project of "double recruiting and double attracting" and carry out the talent plan of "Gathering Talents in Jiujiang".
