On September 20, Jiujiang District organized the first batch of college students from China University of Geosciences for internship and training in Wuhu to carry out the activity of “Gathering in Wuhu and Knowing Jiujiang”, so that the college students could further understand Wuhu, fall in love with Wuhu and stay in Wuhu.
The college students participating in this activity are the representatives of the first batch of senior students from the Department of Industrial Design of School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), one of the “double first-class” universities outside the province, to come to Wuhu since the implementation of the "Milk Vetch Talent Plan", the implementation of the "Attracting Talents in Jiujiang" action and the launch of the internship training base project for college students in Jiujiang District. Since the middle of June this year, some college students of the University have gone to Wuhu Chery, EFORT and other leading enterprises in the industry for internship training and in-depth workshop experience to promote the combination of professional application theory and engineering practice.
On the day of the activity, 15 representatives of interns and trainees entered the Institute of International Engineering Education, Anhui Polytechnic University and had an in-depth discussion and exchange with the college students of the same major. They talked about their feelings and future together and made suggestions for Wuhu talent attraction. During the activity, the thematic presentation of “People's City, Happy Wuhu” showed the unique charm of Wuhu's food, beautiful scenery and culture from a new perspective. On that night, Jiujiang District also organized a visit to the ancient city of Wuhu for college students to feel the historical flavor of the ancient city and old streets.
Since this year, Jiujiang District has been increasing its efforts to recruit college graduates, and by the end of August, nearly 10,000 college graduates have been recruited. (Reported by Zhao Dandan, Deng Jian)
