On June 13, 34 junior students from the Department of Industrial Design of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) arrived in Jiujiang District and will start their three-month practice and training life. This is also the first batch of “double first-class” university students outside the province in Wuhu college students practice and training base.
In order to thoroughly implement the development strategy of “double recruitment and double introduction” of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government, and implement the “Milk Vetch” Talent Program, Jiujiang District closely focused on the decision and deployment of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government to promote the talent work with high quality, and built the “double first-class” college student practice and training base integrating talent introduction, talent cultivation, talent settlement and talent retention by relying on the mature, efficient and resource gathering talent service system in the market, so as to inject new vitality into industrial innovation and development. The arrival of the first batch of students also officially kicked off the operation of the base. With dedicated internship in enterprises, free accommodation and worry-free living support, students participating in practice training will participate in the robot body development process at EFORT and study at R&D positions such as mechanical structure design, software development and electrical design.
Quxianghua, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information of China University of Geosciences, said, “In the past, there was always a gap between the students trained by the school and the actual needs of enterprises, but our university has deeply realized that application-oriented majors must be combined with the engineering practice. In addition to learning on campus, students can only truly become talents after the experience in enterprises”.
It is reported that the base will welcome the second batch of students from China University of Geosciences majoring in mechanical engineering, communication engineering and electronic information in early July. The Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Jiujiang District will continue to strengthen cooperation with universities and base operators, further deepen the new mode of “University-local government cooperation” mode, and help the high-quality development of industrial economy in Jiujiang by providing high-quality training resources for college students.
