Creating a New Chapter of Development with Alumni Enterprise

On May 25, 2022, Qu Xianghua, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, led a team to Wuhan View Technology Co., Ltd to carry out research work, make in-depth investigation, understand their needs and discuss cooperation issues.

Wuhan View Technology Co., Ltd is a high-tech company integrating R&D, production and sales of industrial color LCD modules and military hardened displays. It is located in the “Optics Valley of China”, Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone. Since 2003, the company has been dedicated to the research and development of color LCD and touch screen solutions for embedded systems and other applications, and specializes in the design, production and sales of serial screens. With the concept of making human-machine interaction design easier, the company has successfully developed the industrial configuration software VGUS (Viewtech Graphical User Software). The software provides a graphical approach to the design of human-computer interaction functions, breaking the traditional interface design model of tracing points and drawing lines. The person in charge of Wuhan View Technology Co., Ltd. is Fu Xiancheng, an outstanding alumnus of our School, so we have a good cooperation foundation with View Technology.

The person in charge of the company led the School leaders and visiting team to visit and understand the current development status and R&D direction of View Technology. In addition to site visit, the School leaders and the heads of relevant departments of the enterprise held a symposium to discuss cooperation issues. In order to support the development of the School, care about the alma mater and give back education with practical actions, Wuhan View Technology Co., Ltd promised to donate RMB 100,000 Yuan to the School for talent training.

The donation of scholarships by the alumni companies shows their sincere and deep affection for their alma mater. The visit and investigation under the School leaders has brought the School closer to the enterprise, and will better provide intellectual support for enterprises and student internship and employment services in the future.
