School-Enterprise Cooperation for Opportunities, and Talent Co-education for Win-Win

[Reprinted] On January 11, Qu Xianghua, Secretary of the Party Committee of School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information of China University of Geosciences, Wang Qiang, President of Shenzhen Research Institute, Li Bo, Deputy Dean of the School and 13 professional professors and lecturers of the School, accompanied by Feng Zhong, Deputy Head of Jiujiang District Government, and Xiao Zongming, Director of Jiujiang Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, visited Chery Automobile Co., Ltd.

Bi Quanguo, Assistant to the President of Chery University and Deputy Director of Human Resources Department of Chery Corporation, accompanied the visiting guests to visit Chery's elite technologies such as crash lab, joint lab and engine bench in Longshan Test Center. During the visit, the visiting professors and lecturers showed great interest and asked questions about the future development of automobiles.

Afterwards, Qu Xianghua and his party came to the Automobile Research Institute. Li Kang, the vice general manager of the company, expressed his warm welcome to the gusts from Jiujiang Government and China University of Geosciences, and warmly accompanied them to visit the exhibition cars and modeling center of the Institute, and the professors of designs of China University of Geosciences expressed their love for the appearance design of Chery Automobile.

After the visit, they had a discussion in the conference room on the sixth floor of the Automotive Research Institute. At the meeting, Li Kang said that China University of Geosciences was a key university in central China, with a good academic atmosphere and excellent technical teaching, and expressed warm welcome to China University of Geosciences to communicate with Chery. Feng Zhong, Deputy Head of Jiujiang District Government, said that Hubei and Anhui are not far away from each other, just like siblings born of the same parents. Wuhan has the largest number of college students in China, and the success of Chery in Wuhu could meet the needs of a large number of college students for internship and employment. Secretary Qu Xianghua agreed and responded that there are a large number of excellent graduates from the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information, who are unfamiliar with the automotive industry and have no way to find jobs. And this cooperation with Chery can not only solve the problems of students' academic development and employment, but also meet the employment needs of the company, which is a win-win for both sides.
