School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information Holds the Reporting and Appraising Meeting for the Secretaries of Faculty Party Branches

In order to solidly promote the study and education of party history, thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, promote the extension of comprehensive strict governance of the party to the grassroots level, and continuously improve the quality of party branch construction, on the afternoon of December 9th, the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information organized a reporting and appraisal meeting for the secretaries of faculty Party branches, which was attended by members of the Party Committee of the School and the secretaries of faculty Party branches. The meeting was chaired by Qu Xianghua, secretary of the Party Committee of the School.

At the meeting, in combination with the teaching, scientific research, management and service work, the secretaries of the six faculty party branches of our School reported in turn from the four parts of the development of party history study and education, the grass-roots party construction, the existing prominent problems and the next plan, showing the work highlights of the grassroots party organizations, identifying the problems and clarifying the next work direction.

Qu Xianghua, Secretary of the Party Committee, commented on the six party branches respectively. He affirmed the achievements of the six branches in grasping the grass-roots party construction work in the past year, but also pointed out the shortcomings of the party construction work of each branch, and put forward several requirements in the following work. First, the party building work should be further closely integrated with the discipline construction, moral cultivation tasks, and the Party branch secretary should put the first responsible person in his work report, perform his duties and prevent the separation of party building from business. Second, the Party branch secretary should be good at summing up, refining and improving in daily work practice and solving problems, be good at exploring the excellent models around us, and strive to make a breakthrough in the creation of "model branch". Third, all branches should take targeted and practical measures to actively promote the party membership of outstanding young people. He set clear targets for all branches. Finally, he arranged the party building work for each branch in the coming year and asked all branches to implement strictly.
