A Teacher from the Department of Electronic Information Engineering of Our School Won the Third Prize in National Professional Teaching Competition

The final of the 5th National Teaching Competition for Young Teachers in Electronic Information Specialty in Colleges and Universities was held in Chengdu from October 15 to 17, 2021, and Ms. Yu Beibei from the Department of Electronic Information Engineering of our School won the third prize. This is the first time for our teachers to win the award in this competition.

     This competition is guided by the National Center for Schooling Development Programme of the Ministry of Education, and sponsored by the Teaching Steering Committee of Electronic Information Specialty in Colleges and Universities of Ministry of Education and the Chinese Institute of Electronics, which was launched in 2017 to further promote classroom teaching reform, create "golden lessons", and create an atmosphere of learning from each other and catching up with each other. The event provides a platform for young teachers to showcase and communicate, which can strengthen the basic teaching skills and ability training of young teachers in electronic information, can improve the quality of course teaching and talent training, and can play a good leading role in improving the quality of the teachers.

  This competition was launched in April this year, and the preliminary competitions were held in four major competition areas across the country. With professional teaching design, solid basic skills and calm and smooth teaching ability, Yu Beibei passed the selection of Hubei Region and won the award in the final round with another 131 contestants from other regions. This achievement shows the growth and improvement of the comprehensive quality of young teachers in our School.
