On October 17, 2021, the awarding ceremony of Tarry Electronics and China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) joint postgraduate training base was held in Tarry Electronics Hongmei Industrial Park. Qu Xianghua, Party Secretary of School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), Wen Guojun, Deputy Dean of the School, He Xin, Secretary of Laboratory Center, Associate Professor Mei Shuang, and related students of the School, Yan Shenggu, General Manager of Lensors Measurement Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., Li Qingping, Chairman of Tarry Electronics, Fu Huarong, General Manager of Kobarry Automation, Duan Lifang, Director of Human Resources, and Pan Yunfeng, Operations Director of Operation of Kobarry Automation, and other relevant personnel attended the awarding ceremony.
Wen Guojun, Deputy Dean of School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), and his party first visited the automatic production workshop and the production workshop of the soft package business unit. During the visit, they had a deep understanding of the R&D production environment and business philosophy of the company, and had a more intuitive understanding of the company's development planning and technology R&D route.
After the visit, leaders from both School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) and Tarry held a meeting. At the meeting, Li Qingping, founder and chairman of Tarry Electronics, expressed his warm welcome to Secretary Qu Xianghua and his party, and also expressed his expectation for the future in-depth cooperation between the two sides. Qu Xianghua expressed at the meeting that he hoped that both sides would take this cooperation as an opportunity to turn the joint training base for graduate students into a bridge for communication between university and enterprise. He also hoped that through this cooperation and exchange, students would be provided with a better platform to make better contributions to enterprises and society.

Subsequently, Wen Guojun, Deputy Dean of the School, gave a speech on the general situation, development course and forms of university-enterprise cooperation, and pointed out that the school would further play a platform role in the joint training base for graduate students, and the forms of cooperation were not limited to single projects, but also focused on long-term cooperation, forming a long-term mechanism for training graduate students in cooperation with the industry, and effectively ensuring the quality of joint training for graduate students.

Then, Mr. Fu Huarong, General Manager of Kobarry Automation, and Mr. Pan Yunfeng, Operations Director of Kobarry Automation, explained and discussed the “company development history” and "university-enterprise cooperation mode" respectively. They focused on the strategic positioning, R&D ideas and business structure of the company. It was hoped that both sides would give full play to their respective advantages in the follow-up construction of the joint training base, and would further carry out multi-angle and deep-level industry-university-research cooperation to achieve win-win cooperation.
