This School Organizes SOLIDWORKS 3D Design Software Skills Training

At present, 3D modeling has become an indispensable part in mechanical design and manufacturing. In order to further improve and standardize the students’ 3D design level, Professor Ding Huafeng, Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information, invited Wuhan Golden Technology Development Co., Ltd. to train students in SOLIDWORKS 3D design skills.

From 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on October 8, our School organized a training course on “SOLIDWORKS 3D design software” for the students from the Excellence Class of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and some master and doctoral students in 313CAD Room of the Engineering Building. The trainer gave a detailed introduction on how to operate the software and how to make standardized drawings.

Students listened carefully and asked questions about the points they did not understand, and the presenter answered everyone's questions in detail. Through skills training, the School hopes to enrich teaching activities, increase teaching methods and improve students' skills.

Through this SOLIDWORKS training activity, the students have mastered the basic standardized drawing method of the software, and have also improved their awareness of standardized drawing and enhanced their skills.
