Zi Bin, Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, Hefei University of Technology, Delivered an Academic Report in Our School

In order to further promote the upgrading of scientific research, enhance the ability to serve the society, continuously strengthen the quality of NSFC project application, and improve the hit rate of applying for NSFC, the School invited Professor Zi Bin, Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, Hefei University of Technology, to give a special academic report on "NSFC Application Experience Exchange" in the Academic Lecture Hall of Bajiao Building. The presentation was hosted by Luo Jie, deputy dean of the School, and teachers from all departments of our School attended the report.

Zi Bin, a national talent, has presided over more than 20 projects as the project leader such as "Intelligent Robot" key special project of National Key R&D Program and National Natural Science Foundation of China, published more than 100 academic papers, 2 monographs of Springer and Science Press, and been authorized more than 100 invention patents, and has received many provincial and ministerial awards, including the Award for Science and Technology Progress of Anhui Province, the Technical Invention Award of Chinese Institute of Electronics, and the Award for Science and Technology Progress in Chinese Machinery Industry. His main research interests are flexible drive robot theory, technology and equipment, intelligent manufacturing system control and automation, etc.

 

 

The report introduced the situation of applying for NSFC in recent years. The number and quality of NSFC applications are increasing year by year, and the competition is getting fierce. Based on the increasingly fierce competition, Prof. Zi Bin explained in detail the matters needing attention in the application of NSFC from the preparation, conception, writing and details of NSFC, and introduced his own experience and summary on the foundation, research content, research scheme and innovation of the application for NSFC.

This academic report has provide guidance for our teachers to further condense scientific problems and improve the quality of topic selection and writing, and pointed out the development direction for the teachers to apply for the NSFC. We believe that our school will be able to achieve new excellent results in the future NSFC application.
