2020 Annual Work Report and Exchange Meeting on Party Building for the Secretaries of Student Party Branches of Our School

On the afternoon of March 18, the 2020 annual work report and exchange meeting on Party building for the secretaries of student Party branches was held at Room 301, No. 2 Teaching Building. Yu Xiaozhou, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of our School, teachers of the student affairs leading group, and full party members of all branches participated in the activity, and the meeting was presided over by Wang Xuewei, Deputy Director of the Student Party Building Office.

At the beginning of the meeting, led by Wang Xuewei, all the party members raised their right fists in front of the party flag and reviewed the party oath. The sonorous and powerful oath resounded throughout the meeting hall. Before the report and exchange, Wang Xuewei explained the rules of reply to the participants. Then, the secretaries of the student Party branches gave a comprehensive introduction to “the progress in daily work, the construction of “seven effective”, the innovation of characteristic activities of the Party branches, and the leading role of the Party branches”. Among them, the first undergraduate Party branch of telecommunications had effectively improved the level of serving students through the integrated building of Party, League and class; the second undergraduate Party branch of telecommunications had effectively enhanced the influence of the Party branch by recording featured videos; the undergraduate Party branch of communication engineering undergraduates guided the junior students to get closer to the Party through the joint work system of Party members and assistant head teachers……The clear working ideas and smooth presentation won loud applause from the participants.

After carefully hearing the reports and exchanges of student party branches, Yu Xiaozhou made a concluding speech. She highly affirmed the enthusiastic participation of all the full party members, and commented on the work and report of each branch. She pointed out that 2021 was the Centennial birthday of the Communist Party of China and the beginning year of the new journey of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way. She hoped that students would keep in mind the identity of Party members, improve their political theory and firm their communist faith. She stressed that all student party branches should take the opportunity of party history study and education activity to combine the optional actions of the party branches with the study of party history, strive to be sensible, trustworthy, moral and practical through studying history, so as to effectively promote the coordinated and integrated development of the Party branch construction and students’ growth and make due contributions to the development of our students.
