The Third Session of the Third Faculty Congress and the Third Session of the Third Labor Union Congress of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information were Held Successfully

(Gao Di, Trade Union of School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information) On the afternoon of December 31, 2020, the Third Session of the Third Faculty Congress and the Third Session of the Third Labor Union Congress of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information (hereinafter referred to as the School) was solemnly held in Room 301, No. 2 Teaching Building. Yu Rongping, vice chairman of the labor union of the University, and all staff of the School attended the meeting, which was presided over by Yu Xiaozhou, deputy secretary of the Party committee of the School.

The conference entered the formal agenda in resonant national anthem. Comrade Yu Rongping first read out the document of the University labor union: "Approval of the Third Session of the Third Faculty Congress and the Third Session of the Third Labor Union Congress of the School of Mechanical and Engineering and Electronic Information", and hoped that each faculty member of the School would tap their potential in their own work, give full play to the spirit of masters, promote the democratic political construction, and strive to contribute to the development of the University.

Ding Huafeng, Dean of the School, made a work report of the School in 2020. The report summarized the overall work achievements and problems in the past year, especially mentioned the silent dedication of the faculty and some touching deeds emerging in the fight against the epidemic in the special period of the outbreak. He also put forward the emphasis of the work in 2021, and called on the faculty to make persistent efforts to strive for a new level in the next year.

Subsequently, Qu Xianghua, Secretary of the Party committee of the School, Ding Huafeng, Dean of the School, Yu Xiaozhou, deputy secretary of the Party committee, Li Bo, Luo Jie and Wen Guojun, deputy deans of the School, gave reports on their respective work. All the participants evaluated the party and government leadership of the School to give full play to the democratic supervision power of the grass-roots staff.

Hao Guocheng, chairman of the labor union of the School, made a work report of the labor union in 2020. He reported the achievements of the labor union in this year, looked forward to the work in the next year, and made a public statement on the income and expenditure of the labor union of this year. Li Changping, director of the School Office, made the financial work report of the School in 2020, introducing in detail the income and expenditure of the School in the past year.

Qu Xianghua, Secretary of the Party committee of the School, assigned the year-end tasks, summarized the achievements of the past year in Party construction, talent and teaching staff construction, talent training, scientific research, discipline construction, laboratory construction,and epidemic prevention and control, and put forward the plan for the work in corresponding fields in 2021, as well as the earnest hope for the work of the School in the next year.

After the successful completion of the agenda, the conference came to a successful conclusion
