Recently, it was learned from the School of Science and Technology Development that the Ministry of Science and Technology had announced the funding of "National Key Research & Development Program - Gravitational Wave Detection", and the project "Design and Test Method of Ultra High Precision Inertial Sensors" led by Sun Yat-sen University was funded. Professor Luo Jie of our School was the principal of subject “Disturbance force analysis of inertial sensor and the establishment of system index system” and the approved fund was RMB 3,820,000 Yuan. The subject is jointly applied by Professor Luo Jie’s team, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Harbin Institute of Technology, and Prof. Wang Dianhong, Prof. Wen Guojun and Prof. Huang Tianye participate in the subject. Based on China's space gravitational wave detection program, this subject aims to solve such key scientific problem as the effect mechanism of multiple interference factors including surrounding temperature, electric field, rarefied gas and coupling with satellite platform on the inspection mass probe in actual space environment, and then establish the whole system index system for inertial sensor, so as to provide a theoretical basis for the implementation of gravitational wave detection program
As the first approved key R & D program of our School by the Ministry of Science and Technology, it will provide experience for the later application of such subjects, and also provide support for laboratory construction, the development of related majors and the cultivation of related technical talents.
