[News] CCTEG Xi’an Research Institute Visited Our School

(Reporter: Xu Hong) On the afternoon of November 19, a group of eight persons led by Yao Ningping from CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute came to the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information and had a conversation with the leaders and teachers of the School. The symposium was held in Room 314, No.2 Teaching Building, and was presided over by Wen Guojun, Deputy Dean of our School. Eight members of the party led by Yao Ningping from Xi'an Research Institute, leaders of our School, teachers of various departments and leaders of the School of Automation attended the symposium.

At the beginning of the meeting, Ding Huafeng, Dean of School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information, introduced the disciplines, talent education, scientific research, international cooperation and other information our College. Next, the heads of departments introduced the current situation of each department. Cao Weihua, Deputy Dean of Cao Weihua, vice president of automation college, introduced the discipline construction, history, scientific research and other general information of the College, and proposed to jointly build a post-doctoral mobile station with the Academy of coal science., introduced the general situation of automation college from the aspects of discipline construction, college history and scientific research projects, and proposed to jointly build a post doctoral mobile station with CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute.

Then, General Manager Yao Ningping introduced the overall work and the next development direction of CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute. He said that in recent years, CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute has changed, transformed and upgraded with the trend, carried out all work steadily, and can keenly capture the market demand. However, the research and development upgrading of products and forward-looking technical reserves are insufficient, so it is urgent to cooperate with colleges and universities to tackle key problems. Furthermore, the Institute has a better platform to help colleges and universities to transform their technological achievements. In the future, CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute would give full play to its own advantages, strengthen exchanges with the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information and the School of Automation in the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, talent introduction, joint training of doctoral students, and industry-university-research cooperation, so as to further consolidate the foundation for common development of both sides through in-depth and continuous exchanges and cooperation.

After that, the participants discussed the joint education of doctoral students, technology research and development and in-depth cooperation, hoping to give full play to the advantages of both sides, improve the industry level and overcome technical problems through cooperation.
