【News】The School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information Holds the 2017 Grade Meeting of the Seventh Semester

Luo Caiwei, in charge of student employment affairs, Ding Yufeng, a counselor of Grade 2017, and all the undergraduates of grade 2017 participated in the meeting.

After welcoming the students back to school after nine months, Ding Yufeng stressed that the senior students were facing the problems of postgraduate recommendation, postgraduate entrance examination and employment, so they should choose their life path carefully.

Ding Yufeng put forward some precautions and requirements. In terms of security, attention should be paid to epidemic prevention, fraud prevention, fire prevention and job hunting. In terms of graduation, the senior students should carefully check whether they met the graduation conditions and be responsible for yourself. In terms of daily life, attention should be paid to the class and examination discipline, as well as the leave and leave cancellation, internship and dormitory problems.

Then he introduced the problems faced by senior students standing at the life turning point, described the details of postgraduate recommendation, postgraduate entrance examination and job hunting, and also put forward some suggestions and requirements.

As the second meeting item, Luo Caiwei in charge of the students affairs of our School gave an employment guidance entitled “planning for the future and lighting up life”.

Luo Caiwei shared with the students in six parts. She firstly sorted out the time point of employment work, emphasized the importance of checking the source information of students, and introduced the employment recommendation form, employment agreement, registration certificate and other related contents. In terms of enrollment and employment, she reminded the students to obtain job information in time and pay attention to each important time node. Then, she told of the problems that should be paid attention to when filling in the employment recommendation form and the employment agreement, she also reminded everyone to have the spirit of contract and sign the contract cautiously.

For students who want to apply for jobs, Luo Caiwei put forward four requirements. I. Seize the opportunity and make full preparations. II. Pay more attention, get excited and be tense. III. Get resume ready and actively strive for any opportunity. IV. Be confident and adjustable based on reality. In the meanwhile, she emphasized that students, whether for graduate study or employment, should make a good career plan and prepare a qualified resume carefully.

Finally, Luo Caiwei gave an example of how to make a resume and shared the channels for obtaining employment information. She expressed her best wishes to all students of grade 2017.

At the end of the meeting, Ding Yufeng stressed that students should learn to be behave, master communication skills, be able to think in others’ positions, respect others, and exercise the expression and independent thinking ability. He give best wishes to all students of Grade 2017: leaving no regrets in the last year, cutting through the wind and waves to live up to the youth.
