【News】A Symposium for 2020 Graduate Representatives Held in Our School

On the morning of June 28, the symposium for 2020 graduate representatives of our School was successfully held in Room 314, No. 2 Teaching Building. Qu Xianghua, Secretary of the Party committee of the School, Yu Xiaozhou, deputy secretary of the Party committee, counselors for graduates and 20 graduate representatives attended the symposium which was presided over by Yu Xiaozhou.

At the symposium, the graduate representatives talked about their learning and sentiment to campus life. Cheng Junjie, on behalf of the 48 national defense students of the School, thanked the School for its training in the past four years, and said that, as the last batch of national defense student, he would continue to carry forward the spirit of the university motto in the future, and tackle difficulties and carry the red flag whenever needed. Zhang Yusheng said that he was deeply touched by the spirit in the fight against epidemic and decided to participate in the western plan, hoping to be a person who contributed to social development with practical actions. Based on his own experience, Yang Ruitao shared the help of the assistant head teacher system to the healthy growth of students. Liu Yuheng talked about the importance of alumni’s guidance and help to the students in school and hoped that the School would continue to strengthen the construction of alumni resource base. Combining with the experience as an anti-epidemic volunteer, Li Qinfei expressed the deep understanding of “let youth bloom in the place where the Party and the people need it most”. Tan Fan thanked the teachers for cultivating their ability to think and solve problems independently, and hoped to make contributions to the emerging science and technology industry in the future. Chen Rui talked about the importance of team cohesion based on students’' work experience. He Zhiyong, speaking as a representative of party affairs workers, hoped that the student Party branch would continue to make efforts to improve the enthusiasm of Party members.

Yu Xiaozhou said that the graduate representatives had fully demonstrated the good spirit of students of our School, and encouraged the students to continue to carry forward the spirit of the university motto in their future study and work, to integrate their personal ideals into the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, to be brave in taking responsibility and dare to act. She also hoped that the graduates would often come back to visit the University.

After listening carefully to the speeches made by the graduate representatives, Qu Xianghua made a summary speech based on his own study and work experience. First, he congratulated all the graduates on their successful graduation, and on behalf of the School, he expressed his gratitude for their valuable suggestions and opinions on the construction and development of the School. He said that, with prompting the excellent study style as the goal, the School would further strengthen and improve the students service management, further enhance the construction level of laboratory, and win the recognition of students with practical efforts. He hoped that all graduates should keep in touch with the teachers of the School; no matter where they go, the School would always be the strong backing for the graduates.
