【News】The Leaders and Teachers of our School Visited the Returned Graduates

In order to welcome all graduates back to University, a graduation wall with the theme of “love our home country and live it to the fullest” was set up in front of the lotus pond, and the striking banner of has been hung in front of No. 2 Teaching Building. On June 24, the first batch of returned graduates of our School “returned home” smoothly. On that afternoon, Qu Xianghua, Party Secretary of the School, Yu Xiaozhou, Deputy Party Secretary of the School, Deputy Dean Li Bo, Deputy Dean Wen Guojun, Deputy Dean Luo Jie, and supervisors for graduate students, head teachers for undergraduate classes and all counselors visited the students’ dormitories, to have a better understanding of their ideological trends and send their concerns and blessings to the graduates.

Qu Xianghua led a team to visit No. 55 Dormitory for national defense students. He carefully asked the students how they felt when they went back to university and where to go after graduation, and hoped that all national defense students would give full play to their professional advantages in the future military career and serve the motherland with their professional skills. Yu Xiaozhou led a team to visit No. 2 graduate dormitory in the East Campus to learn about the situation after returning, asked about the actual difficulties of graduates, welcomed them back to school at any time in the future. Li Bo led a team to No. 62 undergraduate dormitory and urged all students to do well in personal epidemic prevention according to the prevention and control requirements of the university. Wen Guojun led a team to visit No. 10 and No. 14 undergraduate dormitory in the North Campus to understand the difficulties of graduates, and hoped that the graduates could carry forward the spirit of school motto and overcome the present difficulties. Luo Jie led a team to visit Xinfeng graduate dormitory to check the sanitation of the dormitory, and expected that all graduates would meet the challenges in the future with good mental state. During the visit, the supervisors for graduate students and the head teachers for undergraduate classes inquired about the ideological status of students in their research group or class in detail, hoping that everyone could cherish the short time in university and draw a happy ending for their university life.

The graduates thanked the teachers for their concern, and expressed that they must keep in mind the motto of our university. In the future work, life and study, they should keep the pragmatic style of conscientiousness and hard work, and carry forward the spirit of not afraid of hardship or fatigue, do every job and task well, and win honor for and make contributions to their alma mater.
