Invited by Professor Ding Huafeng, the dean of School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information, Professor Hamid Reza Karimi from Polytechnic University of Milan, Italy made an online academic lecture titled “Distribute Control of Mult iagent System:Theory and Applications” on June 23, 2020. This lecture was presided over by Mr. Ge Mingfeng, Deputy Dean Luo Jie, Li Min, Lei Bo and Wang Yudan and the graduates attended the academic lecture.
Dr. Hamid Reza Karimi, a professor in Department of Mechanical Engineering of Polytechnic University of Milan, Italy, acts as the editor-in-chief and the deputy editor-in-chief of many international mainstream journals, has published over 500 papers and reports, with H-factor of 70, and had been evaluated as the ESI highly-cited scientist from 2016 to 2019. He has mainly made the research on multi-agent control system, distributed control, automobile control system and so on.
In the lecture, Professor Karimi first presented the brief development history of multi-agent system, and introduced the basic contents of distributed control, multi-robot system and multi-formation control combined with event triggering, self triggering and MPC control. Then, he analyzed and deduced the dynamic model in theory. Finally, he answered the questions about event triggering and self triggering and the relationship between triggering level and MPC control, anticipated the results of data-driven based MPC control, and gave suggestions on how to write a good paper.
The lecture was concise and comprehensive, which not only shared professional knowledge with teachers and students, but also expanded their horizons and inspired the thought, and achieved remarkable results in academic exchanges.
