I. Company Profile  

SAIC-GM Wuhan Branch was established on April 18, 2012 and is located in Jiangxia District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, covering a total area of about 2.38 square kilometers. It plans to build a complete vehicle and small engine project, and officially conducted ground breaking on June 6 of the same year. The first phase of the complete vehicle project, with a total investment of RMB 7 billion Yuan, was started on September 28, 2012 and was officially put into operation on January 28, 2015. On August 7, 2014, the second phase of the complete vehicle project with a total investment of RMB 7.5 billion Yuan was signed, and the project was officially put into operation on April 7, 2017. The powertrain project has a total investment of RMB 14.8 billion Yuan, with a planned maximum capacity of over 2 million engines and 100,000 transmissions, which can produce SGE, NGC, CVG, CSS series small engines and GFE new energy transmissions. The construction mainly includes two major workshops of PTI and PTII, and the supporting construction of a common power center and a bench laboratory. The complete vehicle production base of Wuhan Branch will adopt the world's advanced process equipment and international high-standard environmental protection facilities, transplant and extend the world-class quality production and quality management system of SAIC-GM, and become a green and environmentally friendly factory integrating lean, agile, flexible and modularization, and can realize multi-platform co-production of small and medium-sized cars, SUVs and new energy cars.

Currently, the industry 4.0. digital era is coming, with the continuous rise of the Internet of Things, big data, driverless, intelligent travel, technology development driven digital, and intelligent R&D model transformation, the automotive industry has ushered in new challenges and new opportunities. Between adhering to the traditional development and transformation, SAIC GM makes a new start! On February 21, 2017, Pan Asia Software Center was born to practice the new attempt of software-defined cars. Pan Asia Automotive Technology Center focuses on cutting-edge research and application in the fields of intelligent driving, artificial intelligence, intelligent human-computer interaction, vehicle networking system, network security, intelligent connected system, and big data. On March 37, 2017, SAIC-GM released its corporate internet of vehicles 2025 strategy, demonstrating the determination and intention of traditional vehicle manufacturers to make Internet vehicles.

What SAIC-GM provides to customers is not only a car, but also an intelligent device and a quality service that always accompanies customers from the beginning to the end. According to the vision of SAIC-GM and Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center for intelligence and networking, SAIC-GM will carry out technical planning and preparation for smart connected products, and build up continuous independent development capability for smart connected products to realize a real ecological layout of Internet of vehicles and create a more intelligent, efficient, safer and more flexible super-sensory experience for consumers.

II. Positions and Requirements

(I) Positions: Engineering/technical/management reserves; work location: Wuhan. 

Including but not limited to manufacturing, quality supply chain, product engineering, facility environmental protection and safety

Demand department 1: Production and manufacturing: stamping, body, paint, general assembly, powertrain and quality department

Demand department 2: Supply chain: procurement, planning and logistics department

Demand department 3: product engineering department

Demand department 4: facilities department

Demand department 5: information system department

Demand department 6: human resources safety project department

Demand department 7: administration and logistics department

(II) Qualifications 

Domestic full-time fresh graduates with bachelor degree or above, graduating from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023; or overseas students graduating before December 31, 2023.

(III) Major requirements

Electrical and electronics: electromechanical\mechatronics, automation, electrical engineering and its automation, power systems and its automation, control science and engineering, control engineering, measurement and control technology and instruments, mechanical electronics, electronic science and technology, electronic information engineering, electronics and communication engineering, automotive electronics, vehicle engineering (partial electronics), etc..

Mechanical: mechanical engineering and its automation, mechanical design, vehicle engineering (partial electronics), automotive service engineering, chassis, bodywork 

Materials: material forming and control, metallic materials, non-metallic materials, polymer materials 

Thermal and power engineering: Internal combustion engine, engine, new energy vehicle, vehicle engine design, thermal and power engineering, vehicle engine design and testing

Chemistry: chemical engineering and technology, applied chemistry

Computer: Computer science and technology, software development/engineering, information security, information and computing science, computer software and theory, computer system architecture, communication\communication engineering, information management and information systems, Internet of things, mathematics, statistics, algorithms

Facilities and environmental protection: Water supply and drainage engineering, fire protection engineering, building environment and equipment engineering, plant supply and distribution, HVAC, operation

Safety: Safety engineering, safety science and engineering, safety management engineering

Language: English and related majors

(IV) Quality requirements:

 

1. Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field for each job category.

 

2. English CET-4 or above, CET-6 preferred; good listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

 

3. Proficiency in office automation software.

 

4. Scholarship winners, student leaders and party members are preferred.

 

5. Good teamwork spirit and work initiative.
