Wuhan HG Genuine Optics Tech Co., Ltd was established in March 2001 with a registered capital of RMB 100 million, and is a core subsidiary of the listed state-owned enterprise HGTECH CO., LTD. At present, the company has five business sectors, four industrial bases and two R & D centers, with nearly 4000 employees, including a number of industry senior doctors or senior technical experts returned from overseas. The products include active optical modules, optical devices, passive optical devices, intelligent terminals, optical components, etc., which have been widely used in national basic communication and other important fields. As one of the most influential suppliers of optical communication devices in China, HG Genuine has undertaken more than 100 high-tech R&D and industrialization projects of the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and has led and participated in drafting more than 60 national standards and communication industry standards.

The company has been in the list of "top 10 most competitive enterprises in China’s optical devices and auxiliary equipment and raw materials" for 13 years, and has been awarded the title of "National Recognized Enterprise Technology Center" and "National Technology Innovation Demonstration Enterprise" jointly by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
