Recently, the School held a special party building forum on the recruitment of student party members, and had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the weak links in the work. Qu Xianghua, secretary of the Party Committee of the School, and all members of the Student Party Branch and representatives of student Party members attended the forum, with counselor Liu Biao presiding over the forum.
Before the forum, the student party branch held special work meetings in batches to identify issues and summarize experiences. At the forum, Liu Biao gave a detailed explanation to the attending student Party members on the issues collected and summarized.
After listening to the problem statements, Qu Xianghua explained in detail the overall requirements and basic procedures for the recruitment of Party members from the perspective of reviewing materials for Party member recruitment based on the actual work, and put forward three requirements in particular. First, we should raise the political position and take the recruitment of Party members seriously; Party members are the cells of Party organization, and the size and quality of Party members determine the state of the Party organization building, so student Party branches should work well with an attitude of being responsible to the organization and comrades. Second, we should establish a systematic thinking and follow up on the entire development process; all party member student leaders should understand in detail the 5 stages and 25 steps of recruiting Party members, do regular work well and serve and guide the students to join the Party organization as soon as possible. Third, we should strengthen the awareness of standards, timely archive various materials, and accurately depict the “portrait” of student Party members moving towards maturity using “Party language”, and continuously improve the level of Party work ability in specific practice.
