Recently, the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information held the regular meeting attended by class teachers in February by grade. The meeting was chaired by counselor of each grade and attended by all undergraduate class teachers. The meeting made arrangements and requirements for the refined management of returning students to school in spring, and discussed and exchanged views on the key tasks of this semester.
On February 16, the counselor Luo Caiwei presided over the class teacher meeting of Grade 2022. Luo Caiwei introduced the key points of students’ ideological education, academic style construction, and the arrangement of final examination. She stressed the need to do a good job in preparing for the exams after students return to school, pay practical attention to students' ideological trends, relieve their pre-exam anxiety, educate and guide them to consciously abide by the exam discipline according to the exam rules and strive for excellent results.
On February 16, the counselor Ding Yufeng presided over the class teacher meeting of Grade 2021. He summarized the overall situation of the students since the new semester began, put forward requirements for the election of new class members, and made detailed arrangements for the comprehensive assessment, awards and excellence evaluation and class construction. As the discipline split-flow has just been completed for the sophomore, Ding Yufeng explained the relevant situation in combination with the implementation plan of the school for discipline split-flow in previous years. The class teachers also said that they would cooperate, guide students to adapt to their majors as soon as possible, and do a solid job in class construction.
On February 22, the counselor Liu Biao presided over the class teacher meeting of Grade 2020. He pointed out that the junior year is a critical period of choice, and the postgraduate entrance examination or employment trend will gradually emerge. The class teachers need to do a good job of mastering their employment intention, guide the students to get employment if they can; do a good job of supervision for the students who will postgraduate entrance examination, pay more attention to the students with graduation difficulties, and do a good job of reassuring and helping. To this end, class teachers need to have talks with students of different levels and categories, pay attention to their physical and mental health, organize more class collective activities, and strengthen communication with students.
On February 15, the counselor Ding Yufeng presided over the class teacher meeting of Grade 2019. As the spring semester is in the graduation season, Ding Yufeng explained and arranged the work, activities and disciplines related to the graduation season. He said that the current situation of postgraduate entrance examination and employment is severe, and he hoped that all class teachers could make comprehensive plans, strengthen guidance, concentrate on the postgraduate entrance examination and employment for graduates of Grade 2019, and take multiple measures to get through the “last mile” of postgraduate entrance examination and employment.
At the meeting, class teachers of each grade communicated with their counselors about the relevant situation of their classes and discussed the key tasks of this semester.
