Winter Vacation Work Arrangement Meeting of the Student Affairs Leading Group of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information

At 10:30 pm on Jan. 3, the 2023 winter vocation work arrangement meeting of the student affairs leading group of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information was held at Room 502 of No. 2 Teaching Building, which was presided over by Yu Xiaozhou, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, and all counselors of the student affairs leading group attended the meeting.

I. Yu Xiaozhou put forward specific requirements for student work during the winter vacation in combination with the spirit of the winter vacation work arrangement meeting of the University and the actual student affairs of the School

1. Do a good job in reminding students of their safety during the winter vacation, guide the students to build a strong defense line of safety thoughts, and make every effort to prevent and put an end to safety accidents, so as to ensure a stable and peaceful holiday.

2. Implement the requirements related to the epidemic prevention and control, continue to follow up the health status of students, and remind them to do well in personal protection.

3. Do a good job in the education and management of students in school, timely inform the head teacher and graduate supervisors, strengthen humanistic care, and form a joint force in educating people.

4. Consolidate the achievements of students’ mental health education in school, strengthen the communication between students and their parents during the winter vocation, and relieve students' psychological problems in time.

II. Yu Xiaozhou raised expectations for strengthening the team building

1. We should take the initiative to think and plan the work for new semester, highlight the guide of party building to ensure the characteristics of student affairs of the School, plan the highlights of work, and play an initiative role in the new semester.

2. We should strengthen our study, think deeply about the work, sort out our experience, and deepen physical and chemical research on the basis of existing achievements, so as to make more academic achievements.

3. We should grasp the work time nodes, improve efficiency, and timely sort out the work arrears, to ensure that the work is completed on time with quality and quantity.

4. We should strengthen work discipline and do a good job of leave reporting and holiday duty work according to the requirements of the University.
