Celebration of the 70th Anniversary of CUG | The Psychological Association of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information Launched a Special Activity to Give Thanks to the Alma Mater

This year is the 70th anniversary of the founding of CUG. In order to enrich students’ extracurricular life and relieve their learning and living pressure in the background of the epidemic, the Psychological Association of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information organized a special activity to give thanks to the alma mater in front of the gymnasium on the morning of November 6.

The activity consists of four parts: recalling the unforgettable moments in CUG, sharing the photos of life CUG, writing gratitude and blessings to CUG on the sticky notes, and loop games. The students enthusiastically participated in this activity, and within a few moments, the message board was filled with students' good wishes for the 70th anniversary of the University.

In the loop games, you can get the corresponding prize in case of putting the loop in the prize. Zhang Xingyue, a student of the School of Engineering, actively participated in the game and won a beautiful gift for herself. She said happily: “At present, it is the midterm examination stage, the academic pressure is relatively high, and the loop game is simple but full of fun, which is very stress relief”.

In the context of the intertwined pressure of epidemic prevention and control and academic pressure, the Psychological Association carried out a special activity to give thanks to the alma mater. On the one hand, with the help of a few simple games, it helped students release pressure, relax and maintain a good psychological state in their busy study life; on the other hand, through this activity, students expressed their gratitude and love for the alma mater, enhanced their sense of belonging, responsibility and honor for the alma mater, encouraged them to continue to carry forward the fine tradition of hard work, practice the spirit of the school motto, and strive unremittingly!
