School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information Holds the First Session of Education Activity on the Theme of “Learning from the 20th CPC National Congress and Forging Ahead in the New Era”

In the afternoon of October 27, the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information held the first session of education activity on the theme of “Learning from the 20th CPC National Congress and Forging Ahead in the New Era” at Room 301 of No. 2 Teaching Building. Yang Li, a full-time organizer of the Organization Department of the Party Committee of the University, gave a special tutorial report entitled “Accepting the task, fulfilling the mission and making contributions to the recruitment of Party members”. The report meeting was chaired by Liu Biao, a counselor of the School, and the student Party member leaders of the School attended the meeting.

Yang Li explained the process of recruiting Party members in detail from the basic concept of the recruitment of Party members. She said that the recruitment of Party members is a very important and basic work, which should be done in accordance with the requirements of “political standards are the first, strict procedures are the guarantee, and strict discipline is the key”, and the norms for the recruitment of Party members of the University, with a sense of responsibility and mission. Student party member leaders should carefully sort out and summarize the common problems in the party membership materials, clarify the work content and methods, and drive all student party branches to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning, so as to constantly improve the quality of recruiting party members.

In combination with the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Yang Li sent a message to the student party members to master the ability to get things done in practice. First, we should consciously and systematically study, pay attention to current political hot spots, deeply study and implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, and establish a systematic thinking on the recruitment of Party members. Second, we should plan in advance, and make a good layout and design for the echelon development of Party members in accordance with the procedural steps and requirements of the recruitment of Party members. Third, we should be good at learning from others, grasp the key points of work, be careful, and do a good job in the relay and inheritance in cultivating excellent forces. Fourth, we should take the initiative to work, strengthen the initiative of work, and lay a solid foundation for the School to ensure the quality of new Party members.

In the interactive activity, Yang Li answered the questions raised by the students based on her own work experience. She called on the student Party member leaders to lead the young students to follow the Party in the solid basic Party work, so that youth can blossom in the hot practice of building a modern socialist country in all respects.
