School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information Holds the Third Semester Grade Meeting for Grade 2021
At 19:00 on the evening of October 9, the meeting of Grade 2021 of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information was held in Room 109 of No. 3 Teaching Building. The meeting was hosted by Ding Yufeng, the counselor of Grade 2021, and He Hui, a part-time counselor and all students of Grade 2021 attended the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, counselor Ding Yufeng made arrangements and requirements around the three aspects of regular epidemic prevention and control, fire and electricity safety, and campus fraud prevention. He reminded the students that campus safety is a small matter that cannot be ignored in life, so more attention should be paid to ensure our own safety on and off campus.
Ding Yufeng used the data graph to visually display and analyze the overall learning situation of the students of Grade 2021 in their freshman year. He urged students to, firstly, clarify classroom discipline and not to touch the red line of absenteeism; secondly, maintain enthusiasm for knowledge and take the initiative to ask for advice and solve problems; thirdly, develop good study habits and focus on accumulation and work in daily study. He also once again strictly asked everyone to be serious in the examination, abide by the examination discipline, prepare for the examination carefully and take the examination in good faith.
Ding Yufeng made relevant reminders about the matters needing attention in the English level examinations and discipline split-flow. The first semester of sophomore year is a critical period for the discipline split-flow in our School, and he explained in detail in combination with the implementation plan of the discipline split-flow in previous years. He emphasized the importance of the English level examination and reminded students to be familiar with the type of questions in advance, prepare the equipment and not fight unprepared battles.
In the special section of heart-to-heart talk with counselors, Ding Yufeng and the students exchanged ideas on resume creating, personal etiquette, and mental health.
Finally, part-time counselor He Hui introduced herself and shared her study experience, encouraging students to pursue their dreams and live up to their youth in the University.
At the end of the meeting, Ding Yufeng encouraged everyone that “the more active, the less things; the harder, the luckier”, and he expected that students would keep working hard and striving in the new journey of the new era, fighting bravely in the trend of the times, climbing towards the peak of their dreams, to greet the 20th CPC National Congress with outstanding achievements.
