School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information Holds a Symposium for Teachers and Students to Study the Spirit of the Report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC)

At noon on October 16, this School held a symposium for teachers and students to study the spirit of the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China at Room 514 of No.2 Teaching Building. Yu Xiaozhou, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, Du Yu, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the School, Wen Long, representative of outstanding young teachers, counselors and student representatives of all grades attended the symposium, and Liu Biao, the counselor, presided over the symposium.

At the symposium, student representatives spoke in turn. They said that they would seriously study, publicize and implement the spirit of the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, define their own position, make a good bridge between the School and students, actively combine what they learned with the grand goal of building a modern socialist country and promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation in all respects, and devote themselves to the great practice of self-reliance and self-improvement in science and technology, and take practical actions to bloom gorgeous flowers where the motherland and the people need most.

Afterwards, the teacher representatives exchanged their learning experiences based on their own work and study experience. Du Yu talked about his understanding of learning from four aspects: ideological theory is the flag to lead the way, vivid practice is the cornerstone to realize the dream, planning and summarizing is the guarantee of steady development, and successive struggle is the core of youth serving the country. Wen Long said that he would adhere to educating people for the Party and the country, fulfill the mission of the era of "four services", and strive for the "double first-class" construction of the University. Ding Yufeng, a counselor of Grade 2021, talked about his thoughts on the report of the 20th CPC National Congress from his four identities of "Chinese", "CPC member", "college counselor teacher" and "youth". Luo Caiwei, a counselor of Grade 2022, as a teacher of freshman military theory course, talked about her experience on how young students fully implement the overall national security concept in combination with the content of the report.

Yu Xiaozho made a concluding speech. She pointed out that all teachers and students in the School actively listened to and watched the opening meeting of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and talked freely about their experiences after the meeting, which fully showed the good spirit of our teachers and students. She stressed that the Party Committee of the School would organize a series of activities to study, publicize and implement the 20th Party Congress of the Communist Party of China, and hoped that all teachers and students would continue to study and comprehend the spirit of the Congress in a timely and in-depth manner, especially to transform the spirit of the report into concrete actions for entrepreneurship. It is hoped that our students will be ambitious and enterprising, constantly consolidate their professional foundation, integrate their personal growth and struggle into the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and write a brilliant chapter in their successive struggles.
