Work Set-up Meeting in Autumn Semester and the Second Regular Meeting in September of the Student Affairs Leading Group of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information

At 15:00pm on Sept. 29, the second regular meeting in September of the Student Affairs Leading Group of School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information was held in the Conference Room 502 of No. 2 Teaching Building. Yu Xiaozhou, deputy secretary of the Party committee of the School, presided over the meeting, and all counselors of the student affairs leading group attended the meeting.

I. The participants reported and exchanged views on recent work

1. Du Yu, Secretary of the Youth League Committee and graduate student counselor, reported on the transfer of student organization relations, the promotion of the Party membership of the Youth League, the promotion of the Science and Technology Culture Festival, the activity of robot science into primary and secondary schools, the preparation of the alumni topic of the "My University, My Growth Season" lecture series, and the excavation and propagation of student models.

2. Ding Yufeng, the instructor of the student union and student awards and subsidies, and counselor of Grade 2021 and 2019, reported on the work of holding class teachers work meeting, holding grade meetings, scholarship evaluation and assessment, employment mapping of Grade 2019, organization and planning of sports games, and guidance on the defense of students’ social practice team.

3. Luo Caiwei, the employment specialist, safety and mental health education instructor, and counselor of Grade 2022, reported on the review of the origin of graduates in 2023, employment promotion, the arrangements for the class meeting on the theme of "Growth and Development", the successful holding of the opening ceremony for undergraduates, the meeting of class teachers, the grade meeting for freshmen, and the progress of Korean exchange program.

4. Liu Biao, the Party building instructor and counselor of Grade 2020, reported on the regular meeting of class teachers, the regular meeting of party branch secretaries, the review of new students' party files, the adjustment of party branch settings, the promotion of the 25th training course for development candidates, the transfer of organizational relations of graduates in 2022, the progress of "student-staff" party branch twinning and navigation work, the preparation for student party conference of the School.

II. Yu Xiaozhou, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, listened to the report and made arrangements for the near turn

1. We should continue to go deep into the classes and attend lectures, communicate with student in their dormitories, strengthen students' awareness of labor education, and do a good job in the construction of basic civilization.

2. We should continue to organize students to participate in online special study on the Constitution, national network security education, and the prevention of telecommunications fraud.

3. We should tighten the strings of safety and stability, do a good job in risk monitoring and research and judgment, and further strengthen the reminder and corresponding education management of students' compliance with epidemic prevention and control requirements.

4. Do a good job in guiding students’ employment, guiding them to learn special courses on employment to enhance their competitiveness in employment.

5. Continue to organize and carry out enterprise tour activities.

6. Organize and carry out the school sports meeting, to enrich students' after-school life, and cultivate their collectivism spirit and solidarity and cooperation ability.
