My hometown is Xingtai City, Hebei Province, which has a history of more than 3,500 years as a city and has been inhabited by human beings from 50,000 to 100,000 years ago. In history, the country was founded here for four times and it has been the capital for five times is known as "the ancient capital of five dynasties and the county of ten dynasties". It is the third oldest city on the map of China, the first city in the history of northern China, and one of the earliest ancient capitals in China. After more than three thousand years, the administrative system has never been interrupted, and the city site has never been relocated.
There are many stories in the party history of Xingtai, so let me describe the establishment of Xingtai party organization: The first party member in Xingtai was a comrade named Zhang Zhongyi.

He sowed red seeds in the land of Xingxiang and ignited a prairie fire. In April 1925, Zhang Zhongyi, who was teaching in Tianjin, and Yu Fangzhou, secretary of the CPC Tianjin Committee, were appointed by the CPC Beijing District Committee and arrived in Xingtai. Their task was to establish and develop the party organization in Xingtai. They went to Zhili No. 12 Middle School, which has a strong revolutionary atmosphere and more active thinking, to conduct detailed investigations and determine the targets for party membership development. Finally, they decided to introduce 6 people to join the Communist Party of China, and they were the first members of the Communist Party of China developed in Xingtai. In August 1925, the First Brigade of the Shaanxi Cavalry of the Second Army of the National Army moved to Xingtai. The communist party member Wang Huanxin of the brigade who was engaged in the military transportation work developed Shen Guohua and Lin Chaojie among the students of the Zhili No. 12 Middle School to joined the party and immediately established the CPC Party branch of Zhili No. 12 Middle School in Xingtai, which was the first party branch established in Xingtai District. In November 1925, the CPC branch of Xingtai Zhili Provincial Fourth Normal School was established.

It is their courage to explore in spite of hardship and danger that has made our present good life possible. My hometown is Wuhu, a river city, which has enjoyed the reputation of "famous area of Wu and Chu" since ancient times. The scenery of half-city mountain and half-city water in Wuhu is not inferior to the beauty of water-bound towns in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. Wuhu has a strong revolutionary atmosphere. Wuwei, under the jurisdiction of Wuhu, is an old revolutionary area, where the Seventh Division of the New Fourth Army was born. During the war of resistance against Japan, the people of Wuwei shared life and death with the New Fourth Army, and during the Liberation War, they responded to the call of the Chinese People's Liberation Army to "fight across the Yangtze River to liberate the whole China", and the famous first boat to cross the river started in Wuwei. During the Battle of Crossing the River, many heroes emerged in the Wuhu area. At that time, a 14-year-old fisher girl named Ma Maojie participated in the battle and was cordially received by Chairman Mao.

The spirit of the war of resistance against Japan and the spirit of "the first boat crossing the river" are all valuable spiritual food left to us by the revolutionary ancestors, which are worthy of our in-depth excavation and study. This inspires us not to forget our original intention and forge ahead. Therefore, we should be loyal to the party and strive for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

My hometown is Jingzhou City, which was called "Jiangling" in ancient times. It was the capital of the state of Chu during the Spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period. It is located in the south central part of Hubei Province, on both sides of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and in the hinterland of the Jianghan Plain, and is one of the first 24 famous Chinese historical and cultural cities announced by the State. The profound history and culture of Jingzhou have accumulated valuable spiritual wealth, created the enterprising spirit of hard work and openness to all rivers, especially the great wisdom and courage embodied in the fight against floods in 1998, as well as the great righteousness and love embodied in the handling of the sinking of the "Oriental Star" passenger ship, which have left a deep impression on the world.

If you ask the primary and middle school students in Jingzhou "what is the Yan'an spirit?" They will definitely be excited to say a lot and will tell you "these are all taught by Grandpa Guo!" Guo Jingyun, who has 68 years of party experience, has firmly believed in red all his life. At work, he loyally performed his duties and dedicated 47 years to the people. After retiring, he has volunteered to preach the spirit of Yan'an for more than 20 years. Not only did he always keep in mind the red revolutionary spirit of his ancestors to "love the party and serve the party", he also deeply rooted the pursuit and belief of "appreciating the party's favor, listening to the party, and following the party" in the hearts of his children and grandchildren. Guo Jingyun said, "Preaching the party history is to make the younger generations look back at the beginning from the red history, do not forget their original aspirations from the red history, not forget their original aspirations, stick to their original aspirations, and continuously strengthen the 'four consciousnesses', strengthen the 'four self-confidence', achieve the 'two maintenance', and strive for the party and the country."
