The First Regular Meeting of the Student Affairs Leading Group of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information in October
On the afternoon of October 13, the first regular meeting of the student affairs leading group of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information in October was held in Conference Room 502, No. 2 Teaching Building. Du Yu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, presided over the meeting, and all counselors of the student affairs leading group attended the meeting.
I. Participants reported the work progress and exchanged views
Du Yu, Secretary of the Youth League Committee and graduate counselor, reported the work progress in the assessment and acceptance work of the Communist Youth League, the work of nominating candidates to the Party, the verification of the membership materials of the new students, the preparation of the robotics competition, the preparation of the scientific and technological thesis presentation, the selection of various scholarships and grants for graduate students, the promotion of the employment of the 2022 graduate students, and the participation in the regular meetings of the secretary of the Youth League Committee, the counselor symposium, and the regular meetings of various student organizations.
Ding Yufeng, the instructor of the student union and counselor of Grade 2021, reported on the work progress in new students entrance education, military training, opening ceremony, recognition of advanced individuals in military training, class league construction of new students, collation of academic information, filing of files, identification of new students' family financial difficulties, filing of graduates' registration forms, follow-up of students' employment, exchange of student organizations and series of activities in the new students' season.
Liu Biao, the instructor of Party building and counselor of Grade 2020, reported on the work progress in the grade conference and mental health lecture, the heart-to-heart talk with students, the communication with parents of students on academic warning, the start of the 21st development target training course, the meeting of party branch secretaries, the planning of the organizational system reform of the graduate party branch, the transfer of organizational relations, and the review of new students' party membership files.
Luo Caiwei, the employment instructor, mental health education instructor and counselor of Grade 2018, reported on the work progress in the grade conference, the industry sharing lectures by representatives invited from enterprises, the construction of the psychological association, the class teacher meeting, the student dormitory visit, the promotion of Hanyang University exchange student program, and the employment skills training.
Mamat · Aierken, the instructor of student scholarships and grants and the counselor of Grade 2019, reported on the work progress in the difficulty identification, financial aid survey for registered students with files, selection and submission of national scholarship and national inspirational scholarship, issuance of national grant, collection of information on student loans, selection of social scholarships and CUG Talent Scholarship, submission of daily health information of the school, update of vaccination statistics, symposium for new students of Xinjiang minority nationality, meeting of class teachers, grade conference and career planning lecture, preparation of grade study recording and English corner activities.
II. Secretary Du Yu arranged work for the near term
1. All counselors are required to promote their work in a solid and orderly manner around the work arrangements and requirements of the university and the school.
2. Do a good job in the annual assessment of class teachers and promote the implementation of incentive fund for freshmen class teachers as soon as possible.
3. Continue to deepen the study and education of party history, focus on learning the spirit of the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping on July 1, carry out good study and education activities, actively prepare for the party branch style competition, and summarize and condense the work experience and results in a timely manner.
4. Attach great importance to students' mental health education to ensure the smooth implementation of the full psychological survey.
5. Systematically sort out the overall situation and problems of the graduate work of the school, and cooperate with the research and reporting of the situation.
6. Strengthen daily education and management, enhance epidemic prevention and control and anti-fraud propaganda, continue to carry out dormitory and classroom visits, and do a good job of heart-to-heart talks and educational guidance.
