In September 2021, the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information held the first working meeting for class teachers in this semester by grade. The meeting was hosted by counselors of each grade, and all undergraduate class teachers attended the meeting. The meeting discussed and arranged various tasks for this semester.
On September 2, counselor Ding Yufeng presided over the class teacher meeting of Grade 2021. The meeting made detailed arrangements for orientation and entrance education for freshmen. Ding Yufeng expressed his hope that the freshman class teachers could actively integrate into the students' group, adopt the work methods that the students liked to work, focus on guiding the freshmen to adapt to the university life as soon as possible, help them make good academic planning and spend four full years in university.
On September 23, counselor Liu Biao presided over the class teacher meeting of Grade 2020. At the meeting, Liu Biao summarized the academic situation of each class in the previous academic year, and said that the study style was the foundation of class construction. He hoped that the teacher in charge of class would attach great importance to the students' academic situation and actively take relevant measures to help the class students improve their academic performance. In addition, we should also pay close attention to the students' dynamics, attach importance to their mental health education, and do a good of education on various class topics, so as to help them grow and become successful.
On September 27, counselor Mamat presided over the class teacher meeting of Grade 2019. At the meeting, Mamat summarized the course results of each class in the previous semester and said that class teachers should help students enhance their professional identity, correct their learning attitudes and make good academic planning, and should encourage students with leading grades to keep them up and motivate those who were temporarily lagging behind to catch up. He emphasized that class teachers of each class should focus on students, care for students, serve students, continuously improve students' ideological level, political awareness, moral quality and cultural literacy, and guide and help students in thought, study and life.
On September 17, counselor Luo Caiwei presided over the class teacher meeting of Grade 2018. The meeting mainly arranged dormitory visits and employment statistics. Luo Caiwei emphasized that, as graduation approaches, class teachers in each class should earnestly strengthen employment guidance, guide students to establish a correct employment concept, and help class students clearly define their employment direction and goals through various educational activities, so as to promote high-quality employment.
At the meeting, class teachers of each year communicated with counselors about the relevant situation of their classes and discussed the key tasks of this semester. Recently, the School has started the assessment of class teachers in the last academic year, and the meeting also conveyed and arranged the specific work arrangement about the assessment.
